At the Grain and Oils Detection Technology Forum, Mr.Cao, an expert from Wilmar (Shanghai) Biotechnology Research and Development Center, shared a report titled "A Preliminary Study on the Theory and Practice of Automatic Intelligent Analysis of Contamination in Grain and Oils".

Mr.Cao pointed out the difficulties in the analysis and detection of pollutants in grain, oil and food, such as trichloropropanol/glycidyl ester, mineral oil and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons. Standardization and automation of their pre-treatment process has become a general trend.

Mr. Cao also shared the automatic sample pretreatment analysis program developed by Axel Semrau technology -- CHRONECT®  LC-GC Workstation MOSH/MOAH Food Mineral Oil Analysis System. Mr.Xie, an expert from the National Food and Strategic Reserves Administration, shared a report titled "Detection Methods and Application of Rice Contambled Mineral Oil".

Mr.Xie stressed that the existing detection methods of mineral oil in rice are mainly qualitative, complicated steps, poor stability and not strong operability. To solve this series of problems, Mr. Xie Gang shared the application of liquid phase and gas phase two-dimensional chromatography based on CHRONECT®  LC-GC Workstation MOSH/MOAH Food Mineral Oil Analysis System. Through a large number of experimental data, it was shown that the scheme had excellent repeatability and accuracy.
