The 3rd Huan Bo hai Chromatographic Science and Mass Spectrometry Conference was held on Aug 29-31，2014 in Tian Jin. The conference was organized by Tian Jin Chromatography Research Association and Tian Jin Association for Instrument Analysis. Esensing attended the conference as a sponsor. Since establishment, Esensing has been dedicating to introducing advanced analytical equipment for food safety area and developing analytical methods. One of its leading products, online SPE-LC/MS/MS from Spark Holland, has been utilized by many customers working for food safety.
In the conference, Dr. Jiebo Mi, expert from Tianjin Commodity Inspection Bureau, elaborated the analysis of β-agonist by using Online SPE-LC/MS/MS. He concluded that the online SPE system has demonstrated excellent reproducibility and detection limit, significantly improve the sample pre-treatment time and highly boosted the efficiency of mass spectrometer.
With our focus on the conception of “Sample CARE”, during the conference, Esensing presented AutoMateTM- Q40, which is a QuEChERS platform manufactured by Teledyne Tekmar from US.
To introduce the new Tekmar instrument, Esensing was invisted to held a seminar during the conference, the product manager from Esensing introduced the functions of AutoMate-Q40 to participants in details. QuEChERS is a Quick-Easy-Cheap-Effective-Rugged-Safe extraction method that has been developed for the determination of pesticide residues in agricultural commodities. Since the development, QuEChERS has been modified to accommodate different kinds of matrices. The AutoMate-Q40 is a revolutionary system specifically designed and optimized to automated the QuEChERS sample preparation workflow. The system is configured to conduct two of the most popular QuEChERS sample preparation methods AOAC 2007.01 and EN 15662.2008.
